1. What’s the best way to raise money in a peer-to-peer campaign?
The best way is to start with yourself - it shows buy-in. Next, write your story of why you've chosen to Run For Home. That personal touch makes it authentic and compelling. 2. Do I have to run, or can I walk the 26.2 miles?
You can absolutely walk! Actually, we even had a fundraiser last year who did the whole thing on the elliptical machine. Get creative - that keeps it fun!
3. Do I have to be on a fundraising team, or can I run alone?
That choice is totally yours! There is certainly power in numbers, but if you want to take this on personally and blow it out of the water, then go for it!!
4. Are donations tax deductible?
Absolutely! Eye Heart World is a 501(c)3 and all donations are tax deductible. Additionally, every one of your donors will automatically receive a receipt for their gift and then a year-end giving statement just in time for next year's tax season.
5. How is the money that I raise or give being used?
100% of the money raised through the Run For Home campaign will go directly to providing a place of safety, healing, and empowerment at the Rose Home in Green Bay, WI.
