What's your story?

The first step in creating a solid fundraising campaign is to make it compelling. They need to know what the need is, why you are getting involved in it, and how you're going to do it. Here are a few story templates to get you started:

Option 1:

Slavery still exists, it’s in our country, our communities, and I’m not ok with it. So I’ve registered for Run For Home - a month-long marathon meant to bring awareness to sex trafficking and raise money for the Rose Home which provides restorative care to trafficking survivors in Green Bay, WI. I’ll be taking the entire month of May to run a full marathon and I’ve committed to raise $______ for the Rose Home. Will you help me reach my goal? Giving is easy and secure, and it all goes directly to providing a home for trafficking survivors. Click the link to give now and please share this to help me spread the word!

Option 2:

I love to run. So what makes running even better for me? Running for a purpose. This May I’m doing just that - I’m running to provide a home for human trafficking survivors! Slavery is real and it still exists in our world, so I’ve committed to standing against it by partnering with Eye Heart World in the Run For Home campaign. This campaign is a month-long marathon designed to raise awareness and funding for the Rose Home - an empowering, restorative program for trafficking survivors in Green Bay. So I have the whole month of May to run a 26.2 mile marathon and hit my goal of raising $______ to provide hope, healing, and purpose to trafficking survivors. Will you help me reach my goal? Giving is easy and secure, and 100% goes directly to the Rose Home. Click the link to give now and please share this to help me spread the word!

Option 3:

I’m not really a runner, so I need some big time motivation to get me out on the trail or treadmill. This spring I found just the motivation I need - running to provide a home for human trafficking survivors! Ladies in the life of trafficking are abused and traumatized in horrible ways, and I want to help them.  So I’ve partnered with Eye Heart World in the Run For Home campaign.
